This page explains the cookies and similar tools that run on https://www.harmonyandhealing.org, what each one is for, and how you can turn them off. You can change your choice at any time with the button below or the "Your Privacy Choices" link at the bottom of every page.
How your choice works
If you're in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Oregon, Pennsylvania or Washington, or in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or Quebec, nothing on this list except the essentials loads until you click Accept. Everywhere else, analytics are on by default and you can switch them off. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a "no" and nothing optional loads.
We remember your choice in your browser, so you won't be asked again on your next visit. Clearing your browser data resets it.
Always on
- Your cookie choice. We store whether you clicked Accept or Reject (saved in your browser as "hh-consent"). Without it we'd have to ask on every page.
- Spam protection on our forms. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form is being sent by a person rather than a bot. It runs only on pages with a form.
Only with your permission
- Google Analytics tells us which pages people visit and how they found us. It sets cookies starting with "_ga" that last up to two years.
- Microsoft Clarity shows us where visitors click and scroll so we can fix pages that are hard to use. It sets "_clck" and "_clsk" cookies.
- Call and form tracking (WhatConverts) tells us which page or ad led someone to call us or send a form. While it's on, the phone number on our pages is a tracking number that rings straight through to us at (925) 236-0217. Calls to the tracking number may be recorded.
- Google Ads, Meta (Facebook) and LinkedIn tags tell us whether people who saw our ads went on to visit or contact us. They set cookies such as "_gcl_au", "_fbp" and "li_fat_id".
Videos, maps and donations
YouTube videos and Google Maps on our pages don't load until you click them. Once you do, YouTube or Google may set their own cookies under their own policies. Donations go through PayPal or Givebutter, and newsletter sign-ups through Mailchimp, which handle your information under their own privacy policies.
